mfchuray asked: *Time Sensitive* Hey Carly! I'm interviewing for an internship with a non-profit this week and I'm not sure what I should wear. I want to look capable and responsible, but still fun, because that's part of what my job would include. Any suggestions?

I would opt on the side of basic business wear for the first week and feel out how other people dress in the job. Simple black pants (these are my favorite) with button ups would be a good start. NIce flats or basic pumps will do the trick! You’ll pick up really quickly on weather the office is more formal in dress code or not and then you can adjust what you wear.

moda-e-bellezza asked: *Somewhat time sensitive* Hi Carly! I'm going to DC with my class in May and I was wondering what kind of sandal you suggest for walking alot? I will be doing alot of tours/walking so I need a comfortable shoe but also want to look nice! I will most likely also bring a pair of Tretorns but somedays I will want to wear a sandal. Suggestions? Thanks!

I would honestly opt for a more supportive shoe. DC walking can really get to you! If you’re going to opt for a sandal, I would make sure that they’re super comfortable. Cole Haan sandals are almost always winners in the comfort department!

searchingforseaglass asked: Hey Carly! This is a bit time sensitive... but my commencement is coming up in the next few weeks, and I have NO idea what I'm going to wear. Have you seen any dresses lately that would be cute for a coastal New England graduation? Not too nautical, but we'll be taking pictures on the beach with and without our gowns. Thanks! :D

I love this dress in geranium. This navy dress is great too! Or… this linen dress :)

girlfromtn asked: *Time Sensitive* Carly, I am looking for a dress for myself and four other bridesmaids. The bride asked us to pick our own dresses in pastel colors but we decided we wanted to look more coordinated and put together. We were thinking we might want to match either in color, fabric or style. The theme is "rustic, country wedding". The wedding is outdoors, in the south in July. Please help! Thank you :)

those seem to go really well together! plus you can get them in the same color (or coordinating colors in the same pattern)
