So complicated!!! I had a really similar situation happen when I was a freshman, but I was the one who got cut out. I will say, it was really heartbreaking to be left out of the other girls’ plans, and I only found out RIGHT before we were supposed to sign up. I didn’t have much time to figure it out!!!

I would say something though (I definitely got over it and ended up being much happier with who I roomed with), and I would say something ASAP (so she has time to make other plans)!

I have to admit, I don’t exercise….. I got into running one summer, but it made me crazy. Seriously, it went from a healthy outlet to an absolutely unhealthy obsession. It was pretty bad. Since then, I’ve been hesitant to do serious exercising because I know how I can get… But I eat (sort of) healthily and walk a TON!!!! Being in NYC means I’m constantly walking to and from places which is definitely a good way to stay active without necessarily “working out.”

I would suggest joining a health club, or even blogging about your workout experiences :)

I can’t paint my walls either! You should try removable wallpaper though. It definitely made a difference in my desk nook ;)

Gallery walls will help too… as will lots of pillows and “soft” touches!!! Oh, and you can’t go wrong with stacks of books!

My suggestion is to stick with your name actually!!! I would avoid cities, hobbies, and cliches. I would absolutely not corner yourself in a niche. (I have obviously outgrown the college part of college prepster… but I’m stuck ;)) And… I would avoid This & That names because they’re super overdone and difficult to distinguish :)
