I’m hoping that “this weekend” doesn’t mean, like, tonight.  If so, I’m so sorry!!!  It’s been a whirlwind of NYC travel and midterm studying!

LBDs are always a good choice… if you don’t want to buy a new dress, maybe try adding a skinny belt around your waist in a fun color.  

If you do want a new dress, I’d recommend some sort of lace-y dress.  I have one from Anthropologie that has a very simple black slip with a great lace coverup type thing that goes over it.  I LOVE lace dresses right now!  They’re very classy, but a fun color makes it a bit more modern.  This ASOS dress is a great cut and color!
