blairelebon asked: *Super Time Sensitive!* Hey Carly! On Saturday my two best friends and I are going to New York City to take a ballet class and then see American Ballet Theatre's Romeo and Juliet to celebrate my birthday! And of course we want to go shopping afterwards haha. I know you love New York, so do you have any suggestions on where we should visit? We will be in Lincoln Center and it would be great to stay nearby there :) Thanks a bundle!
I have to recommend using FourSquare’s new “explore” option. My friends have gone through NYC and followed places where other people have checked in and ended up having a blast and visiting cool, new places!
The other great thing is that pretty much everything is accessible in NYC…no matter where you are. The Lilly store is really pretty (but I never had good experiences with the people who work there unfortunately). The Jack Rogers store is really fun (something about seeing all those shoes under one roof…) and is nearby the Lilly store. Something else that’s fun is to go to the Eloise store in the Plaza… it’s near Central Park and it’s just SO fun. You may not buy anything, but it’s super super super cute!
I’d focus on going to stores where you wouldn’t be able to find in a mall… Like you could go to J. Crew/Kate Spade, but they’re pretty much the same no matter what city you’re in!
