Hi! We have an open application at all times. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t hear back from us for an upcoming issue… we keep all applications in the file and go back and review as we decide for the next issue. We try to keep a balance of different types of articles so sometimes we hold off on including one even if it’s great.

Here’s a tip: Make sure that when you “pitch” an idea you’re as thorough as possible! Be detailed in what you want to say, why you want to say it, who you are and how it relates to you. This will show that you’re passionate AND qualified!

(And be selective about adding blog links… we want to see what your best capabilities are…. if your blog doesn’t show that you’re an amazing writer, or an amazing photographer, or an amazing graphic designer don’t include it!)
